Ski de Randonée, Touring, Ski Mountaineering
Call it what you will, the idea is to climb a snowy mountain or col using skins on your skis and sometimes with mountaineering equipment and then getting a great ride down.
Touring can be a short skin to access fresh snow a little way from the lifts or full day or multi-day trips to ski the highest peaks of the Alps.
Between the beginning of January until April we normally find good ski-touring conditions on peaks up to 3000m. In spring from the beginning of April to early June we often find good conditions to ski the highest peaks in the Alps.
